Only Me..

Sean has singlehandedly been holding down the blog lately and I do feel quite guilty for that. I finished my exams and second year at university on the 18th of May, and since then I've been out with friends, catching up with people I haven't seen in a while, working my two jobs, as well as helping out at my sister's house with some painting. My "freedom" from university hasn't been that much fun but I intend on making it fun!

I'm going to Spain with my high school girlfriends in a month! Eeeek! So excited! I'm also going to Thorpe Park soon, which is an amusement park here in England. I'm organising Orange Rockcorps again for my friends and I to go to, so working out which project we can all attend and making sure everyone's free on the day of the gig. I'm also waiting for my close friend to have her baby - she was due yesterday but she doesn't seem to want to come out! I want to knit her a lil hat, so I need to learn how to purl, so I can do ribbing for it.

This leads me onto my next thought. I've got 4 months off now, to do a lot of things, to get ready for this next year of studying as well as getting ready for real life. I need to work out now what I want to do for the rest of my existence and I need to work out how I'm going to get there. I believe setting goals and targets are a good way to do this, but I'll need your help. I need to make sure I stick to my goals and targets and that I achieve all I want to before I start my third, and final year, of university.

Ideally, I want to:
1 - Learn how to purl
2 - Make the baby her hat
3 - Learn how to sign
(I've always wanted to know how to sign, more and more deaf people come into my place of work and I feel really ignorant when I can't converse with them, so I need to learn.)
4 - Read up on my modules next year
5 - Pick my option modules for next year!
6 - Learn everything I should have already learnt the past 2 years that I'll need for next year
7 - Read ahead for this year
8 - Get healthier and fitter
9 - Blog more regularly
10 - Help Sean get the blog up to the standard he wants it to be at
11 - Be a good St. John Ambulance member
12 - Learn what I love in Science so I can be passionate about my project/dissertation for final year

So these are my targets, I might add to them, but for now I'm committed to these. It's in writing so I've got to stick to them! I'll keep you posted on how I'm getting on and what I've been up to, I'm sure!

Wish me luck!
