Okay, so I've been prompted to make my first post on here. I couldn't quite figure out what to write about, but then I figured, "Why not tell everyone about Cardio Kickboxing Class?"
So here ya go, world.
Basically I went to an hour of super intense workout. As a reward, I'm increasing muscle endurance, strength, flexibility, balance, and even some skills I can use against an attacker. Oh yeah. That's my kind of workout class right there.
Last night was class number two for me, but there was a crowd of boys (presumably from our rugby team or lacrosse team...) and they were so adorable. They actually chanted, in unison, during the "Skull Crusher" move. It was straight from Mulan. I was waiting for everyone to start singing "Make a Man Out Of You."
And by the way. The "Skull Crusher" combo move? Epic.
Basically it goes like this:Uppercut, jab, kick with the left (or right) leg, then you grab the person's head and jab your right (or left) knee into their face. (See First Image Above)
Awesome. Or maybe I'm just morbid. *shrugs*
Still, I've got to say, if you readers are looking for a fun, practical, and useful workout, head over to a cardio kickboxing class. I've lost a lot of weight since I've been going to the classes (in conjunction with my cardio kickboxing class), but it's always so upbeat. Be prepared, though, for an extreme workout. It can get super intense and you need a lot of water, but if you just push through the fatigue, you'll feel great.
Anyway, that's just my babbling for the night. I'm not sure what to write about next time, so feel free to give me ideas... otherwise, I might do what I'm actually good at, and write some fiction for you guys to entertain yourself with.
Oh and PS... Where did the fall go?? It's like my town skipped over fall and went straight to winter. We've even had a few forecasts involving snow... I kid you not. I don't know if it's just where I live or what, but man. I love winter, but couldn't it just wait a little longer...??
